Who knew Pump served humble pie?
Lisa Vanderpump was forced to apologize after accusing Kelly Dod of once dining and dashing at her restaurant Pump.
“Gosh of course I was told there was a problem and you didn’t pay,” Vanderpump tweeted on Saturday. “i was away but of course whatever you say,… I apologize if there was such a fiasco and apologize on behalf of all my staff. Would love to host you.”
But Dodd seemed unenthused by the 60-year-old reality star’s half-hearted apology.
“Thanks for your apology. I’m just confused why you’d say I was banned when in fact I was the subject of false and defamatory allegations and cleared this up five years ago,” the “Real Housewives of Orange County” star, 45, tweeted in response. “I’d appreciate a post on your feeds to clear this up.”
In a now-deleted tweet, she doubled down with an even icier message, saying (via realityblurb.com), “Oh [and] by the way Lisa Vanderpump, your food sucks [and] so does your service. Check your Yelp reviews. I wouldn’t come back anyway.”
Last week the “Vanderpump Rules” star, 60, claimed on her new E! show “Observed,” that a very well-known “Real Housewives” star was had been banned from her restaurant after not footing the bill.
One of her guests on the show, Tori Spelling, guessed that Dodd was the culprit, to which Vanderpump claimed, “Yeah, she kinda came into Pump and didn’t pay a bill.”
But Dodd took to Twitter to set the record straight.
“The receipts were saved in old text messages. I sent a photo of them to prove I didn’t dine and dash despite the accusation from a fame hungry server looking for attention,”
she tweeted this weekend.
She reportedly tweeted out a photo of the receipt (which has since been deleted), writing, “Apology demanded! Sept 2016: The waiter didn’t like that I asked for a separate check & spread lies about me. I paid half plus a very generous tip & signed in my daughters name since we had a debit card together.”
This, of course, led Vanerpump to fold like a lawn chair and admit she was wrong.
Their reps did not immediately respond to our request for comment.
